TWOth Autosport Secures 2025 Radical Cup Canada Championship in Dramatic Fashion at Labour Day Sprints

Bowmanville, ON – September 2, 2025 – TWOth Autosport concluded the Labour Day Sprints weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park with a dramatic Radical Cup Canada championship victory for reigning champion Kenny Riedmann, driving the #22 Shopify-backed Radical RSX. This hard-fought win marks Riedmann's second consecutive Radical Cup Canada title and the third Drivers championship for TWOth Autosport in the FEL Motorsport series.

TWOth Autosport continues its a notable history in the FEL Motorsport series, with Kenny being the first repeat champion, and TWOth being the only team to win both the FEL SCCC and RCC championships. This includes Team Principals Travis Hill taking the TCR championship in 2021 and Trevor Hill taking the TCA championship in 2023, along with multiple 3rd place championship finishes over the years.

While the driver lineup and has fluctuated over the year, the team's consistent strong performance throughout the season, with dominant wins and podium finishes, has culminated in this latest championship. The season finale at CTMP's Labour Day Sprints presented significant challenges for the team, with championship contender Brady Clapham looking to steal the title away. Under the TWOth tent, Kenny's 22 car, fitted with a rebuilt engine just in time for the weekend, faced added pressure to ensure performance & reliability. Early setbacks included a higher fuel burn-rate that parked the #22 car at the end of the weekend's only practice session, followed by a small drivetrain failure in qualifying, which relegated Kenny toward the back of the field for both races.

Despite these mounting challenges, Riedmann demonstrated why he was the man to beat, with incredible starts in both races. He charged through the field to secure a crucial 3rd place on Saturday and a conservative 5th place on Sunday, providing enough points to clinch the championship in dramatic fashion, despite Clapham's two race victories over the weekend. Making things even more enjoyable, teammate Liang Qiu also made a welcome return to competition after a medical absence, eager to finish the season strongly with a podium in Masters Class on Saturday.

TWOth Autosport now looks ahead, building on this momentum in Radical Cup Canada competition as they refocus on the next step in their Prototype racing program, with LMP3 tests and races over the upcoming months. Adding the latest in LMP3 hardware, TWOth welcomes the Ligier 325 LMP3, setting their sites on the IMSA VP Sportscar Challenge for 2026 while continuing to support their Radical Cup Canada program.
